This is the first time Iksan will host the 3×3 Korea Tour, thanks to the efforts of the Jeollabuk-do Basketball Association and the Iksan City Basketball Association. The tournament will be held in a new location and is expected to attract a large number of spectators. All games will be broadcast live on the Korea Basketball Association’s YouTube channel, and some games will be streamed live on Naver Sports.

This will be the fourth edition of the Korea Tour for the 2023 season and will feature a total of 65 teams in seven categories: elementary, middle school, high school, open, women’s open, and Korea League (men’s and women’s), with registration starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14.

The third edition of the tournament, held in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, was filled up in just 10 minutes, demonstrating the enthusiasm for the 3×3 Korea Tour. This year’s tournament will also be a first-come, first-served affair.

A total of 11 teams are participating in the men’s division of the Korea League, including Skydown Inje with Park Min-soo and Kim Min-seop, Black Label with Song Chang-moo and Byun Ki-hoon, Masterwook with Kim Jung-yeon, the No. 1 ranked 3×3 player in Korea, and Chosun University, which consists of active university players. With such a strong lineup of teams and players, the season is expected to be more competitive than ever.

A total of five teams will compete in the Korea League Women’s Division, the second edition of the Korea Tour after last year. There will be a number of notable players such as Lee So-jung and Park Eun-seo, who were part of the 2022 FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup Women’s National Team, as well as retired professional basketball players such as Park Chan-yang and Kim Doo-narang, and active unemployment team basketball teams.

This year, unlike last year, the Korea Tour will be held in six rounds, with the sixth round being the finals. The teams that won the first through fifth tournaments will compete to determine the true powerhouse.
