With just one game left in the English Premier League, the transfer speculation of “Bull” Hwang Hee-chan (27-Wolverhampton) has emerged.
The Sunday Mirror reported on Monday (28 July) that Hwang will receive interest from a host of Premier League clubs this summer, including Tottenham and Newcastle.토토사이트
“Tottenham and Newcastle are among the clubs keeping tabs on Wolves striker Hwang Hee-chan,” the Mirror said, adding, “Wolverhampton could let some players leave due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) issues. Hwang Hee-chan joined Wolverhampton outright for £14m after a successful loan spell and impressed towards the end of the season.”
The Mirror added: “For this reason, Tottenham, who already have a South Korean player in Son Heung-min, are eyeing up the South Korean. Newcastle, who are looking to strengthen their squad after qualifying for the Champions League, have made enquiries, while Aston Villa and Jose Mourinho’s Roma are also interested in the striker, who is nicknamed ‘The Bull’.” The four clubs have been linked to Hwang Hee-chan.
After scoring a late season winner against Newcastle on 13 March, Hwang scored three goals in his last eight games, including wins over Brentford in April and Everton in May, to keep Wolverhampton up.
Prior to this, on the 24th, Leeds local newspaper ‘MOTriz News’ reported that the club could let Hwang Hee-chan leave to balance the books as they are facing FFP issues.
Hwang Hee-chan’s representative told ‘Sports Chosun’ that he is considered an important player in the team and was adamant that ‘there will be no release’.
Hwang will play his final game of the season against Arsenal on the 29th. In July, the team will play pre-season friendlies against Celtic and Roma in Korea to showcase their skills to domestic football fans.
