Lilia Boo (USA) rose eight places in the world rankings to 4th at once by winning the Chevron Championship, the first major event of the LPGA tour season.

According to the Rolex World Rankings announced on the 25th (Korean time), Boo was ranked 4th, up 8 spots from her previous week. This is the first time Boo has ranked in the top 10 of the world rankings, her previous highest ranking was 11th. Angel Inn (USA), who finished runner-up after overtime, also raised its world ranking from 172nd to 48th.

Boo, a descendant of the Vietnamese boat people, made her first major win with a birdie on the first hole in the final round of the Chevron Championships, which ended on the 24th. Major competitions had more than twice as many world ranking points as general competitions, so the ranking change was significant.

The world ranking has also changed. Lydia Ko (New Zealand), who was disqualified from the Chevron Championship, fell one place to 2nd place, but Nellie Korda (USA) regained the 1st place. Koda was singled out for third place at the Chevron Championships with a long eagle putt on the last hole. Koda’s world ranking rating is 8.53, while Lydia Ko’s is 7.99. 스포츠토토
