“Actually, the adult stage seemed far away, but after coming to university, I don’t think it’s so far away,” Park said. “I want to do well for two years at Ulsan Science University and go to the WK League. After that, I want to do better and go to the national team. I want to play with my two older sisters, Choo Hyo-joo and Chun Garam. It wasn’t possible at school, but I think it will be possible if I go to the national team. It’s a dream I hope to fulfill someday.”
Park Soo-jung, born in 2004, still has a long way to go. “I need to improve my physicality. I need to work hard on my weight training. My skills are still lacking. I want to be a player who has an impact on the team. Recently, I watch a lot of Lionel Messi in his later years. I want to be a player who can do things himself but also use his teammates in a clever way.”
