The new ace of Ulsan National University of Science and Technology. It’s first-year student Park Soo-jung.

Park is a freshman at Ulsan National University of Science and Technology, and although she is still young, she plays as an attacker in charge of the team’s offense. On the first day of the 31st Queen’s National Women’s Soccer Tournament, ‘2023 Wellness Healing Specialty City Hapcheon,’ against Daedeok University at Hwangganggunmin Sports Park in Hapcheon County, Gyeongnam, on the 17th, she was outstanding. The team lost 0-1, with Park hitting the post twice, but her play stood out.먹튀검증

Ulsan University of Science and Technology is a venerable team, having been founded in 1993 and celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Lee Kum-min, Choi Yoo-ri, and Chu Hyo-joo, who are currently playing for the national team and will be ambassadors for the Queen’s Flag, are all alumni of Ulsan National University of Science and Technology. Chun Garam, the new engine of the national team, is also an alumnus. The younger players, such as Choo Hyo-joo, born in 2000, and Chun Gar-ram, born in 2002, are recent stars of Ulsan National University of Science and Technology. Park Soo-jeong is the next in a lineage that has produced a national-level ace every two years.

Kang Sung-min, who coached Choo Hyo-joo and Cheon Garam, said, “Park Soo-jung is a mix of Hyo-joo and Garam. Basically, she has good technique, speed, breakthrough, and goal-scoring ability. Not only that, but she really kicks the ball like a ‘fox’. She doesn’t try too hard, and she connects cleverly with her teammates. She has a lot of potential.”

“It’s unfortunate that I hit the post twice,” Park said after the game. I thought one would go in, but it didn’t and the team lost. I’m very disappointed,” she sighed.

Ulsan National University of Science and Technology also lost to Korea University in a penalty shootout in the quarterfinals of the Spring League in April. This time, the team is determined to win. “We lost the first match, but I think we can win the remaining two matches. I want to win this tournament more than any other, and I will do my best until the end.”

Park doesn’t have much time to play for Ulsan National University of Science and Technology. Ulsan Science University is a vocational school, so many players try their hand at the WK League after completing their sophomore year. At the latest, they leave the university after their third year. Park Soo-soo, who has already made a name for herself in the women’s soccer world, is likely to leave for the WK League in just two years. She chose Ulsan National University of Science and Technology to get a head start on her career. Her blueprint is to do better at the university level and make it to the WK League and eventually the national team.

“Actually, the adult stage seemed far away, but after coming to university, I don’t think it’s so far away,” Park said. “I want to do well for two years at Ulsan Science University and go to the WK League. After that, I want to do better and go to the national team. I want to play with my two older sisters, Choo Hyo-joo and Chun Garam. It wasn’t possible at school, but I think it will be possible if I go to the national team. It’s a dream I hope to fulfill someday.”

Park Soo-jung, born in 2004, still has a long way to go. “I need to improve my physicality. I need to work hard on my weight training. My skills are still lacking. I want to be a player who has an impact on the team. Recently, I watch a lot of Lionel Messi in his later years. I want to be a player who can do things himself but also use his teammates in a clever way.”
